This Privacy Policy applies to all Drivers, Agents, Travel Companies, Aggregators, and any person or entity using the Taxi King Platform. It covers personal data, vehicle data, and identity documents (including Aadhaar where applicable) used for verification, fraud prevention, and secure operations.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Registration & Profile Information

  • Full Name, Company / Agency Name
  • Mobile Number, Email Address
  • City / Location / Operating Area
  • Login credentials (securely hashed and stored)

2.2 Vehicle & Operational Details

  • Vehicle make, model, registration number, and colour
  • RC (Registration Certificate)
  • Lease or authorization documents
  • Insurance and Permit details

2.3 Driver Details

  • Driver name and mobile number
  • Driving licence details and expiry
  • Photograph (if required for verification)

2.4 Aadhaar & Identity Verification

Important: Aadhaar data is used ONLY for KYC verification and fraud prevention. We do NOT use Aadhaar for marketing purposes. Access is strictly restricted to authorized personnel and wherever possible only masked or limited Aadhaar data is stored.

2.5 Transaction & Usage Data

  • Commission payment details and transaction timestamps
  • UPI ID / bank details for payouts
  • Booking IDs and activity logs

2.6 Device & Technical Data

  • Device type, operating system, app version
  • IP address and browser/device logs
  • Usage behaviour (for fraud detection and performance improvement)

3. Purpose of Data Collection

  • ✓Account & KYC — user verification and document validation
  • ✓Fraud Prevention — detect fake bookings and prevent platform misuse
  • ✓Commission Processing — process payments and handle refunds or settlements
  • ✓Compliance & Legal — resolve disputes and meet regulatory requirements
  • ✓Security — protect platform integrity and prevent unauthorized access
  • ✓Communication — OTPs, alerts, and important service notifications
  • ✗We DO NOT sell your personal data to any third party
  • ✗We DO NOT sell or share Aadhaar or identity documents
  • ✗We DO NOT share data for advertising purposes

4. Consent & Legal Basis

By using the Platform, you give your consent for data collection and processing as described in this Policy. You confirm that all documents submitted belong to you or are authorized for submission. Some features require mandatory data — refusal to provide required data may limit your ability to use the Platform.

5. Data Sharing

Payment Partners

We share relevant data with trusted payment gateways (e.g. Cashfree, Razorpay) for payment processing, settlements, and compliance checks only.

Service Providers

We share data with hosting providers, security and fraud detection services, and SMS/OTP providers. All service providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.

Legal Authorities

We may disclose data to government authorities, courts, regulators, or fraud investigation agencies when required by law or court order.

Internal Access Control

Strict role-based access controls are enforced. Sensitive data including Aadhaar and bank details is never publicly displayed or shared internally without authorization.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (SSL/TLS), secure servers, role-based access control, and continuous monitoring for threats. No system is 100% secure. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and must report any suspicious activity immediately to support@taxiking.app.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as necessary for platform operations, legal compliance, and fraud prevention. After the retention period, data is securely deleted, anonymized, or archived as appropriate.

8. Your Rights

  • Access to your personal data held by Taxi King
  • Correction of any incorrect or outdated data
  • Request for account deletion (subject to legal obligations)
  • Withdrawal of consent for data processing
